Hearings resume next week in a disability case before the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission
MacLean, Livingstone, Delaney and Disability Rights Coalition of Nova Scotia versus the Province of Nova Scotia will resume on Wednesday November 7 in Halifax.
The province says the complaint at the center of the inquiry was brought to the Nova Scotia Human Rights Commission was brought on behalf of three residents living in an institutionalized setting who have mental and/or physical disabilities.
The complainants allege living in this setting is discriminatory and they should be housed in small options homes instead.
Proceedings will take place at Best Western Chocolate Lake, 250 St Margarets Bay Road, at 9:30 a.m.
