Keltie Jones seeks local PC Party nomination

Keltie Jones has announced her intention to seek the Progressive Conservative Party nomination for the Truro-Bible Hill-Millbrook-Salmon River riding.

In a news release, Jones says while she didn't plan to launch another campaign in 2017, she's very excited about this opportunity.

Jones says leadership at the provincial level must be willing to embrace innovative solutions to both social and economic challenges, and she hopes to be part of a team to help move Nova Scotia forward.

Jones is the Assistant Dean of Students and Academic Administration at the Dal AC and has twice run for Mayor of Truro, losing by just 45 votes in October's election.

She's served on several committees in Truro, as well as on the board of a number of local groups.
