Labour minister encourages Nova Scotians to celebrate workers
Nova Scotia's labour minister says Labour Day is an occasion to recognize, honour and celebrate workers across the province.
Labi Kousoulis says he welcomes this opportunity to commemorate the hard-working Nova Scotians who contribute to our province's communities and economy each and every day.
He says Nova Scotia is a province that thrives on the strong work ethic of workers and the collaboration between employers, unions and associations that support them.
Labour Day is celebrated across Canada on the first Monday in September.
