Man, 30, faces assault charge and weapons related offences following stabbing in Dartmouth: police
A 30-year-old man is facing a charge of aggravated assault and several weapons related offences following a stabbing in Dartmouth on Friday night.
Police say they responded to a 911 call in the 100 block of Pinecrest Drive around 9:40 p.m., where they found a 26-year-old man with a stab wound to his upper chest area.
They say another 911 call was received from a nearby apartment during the investigation, reporting a second man with injuries.
The second man was arrested and is scheduled to appear in provincial court on Monday.
Police say the two men are known to each other.
