Man arrested after a break and enter at two New Glasgow businesses
A 41-year-old man has been charged in connection with a break and enter into Big Al's Convenience Store and a former clothing store on North Provost Street in New Glasgow.
Police responded to a report early Friday morning that a man had smashed the windows of both businesses.
Officers located the suspect inside Big Al's Convenience Store when they arrived on scene and arrested him.
He's been charged with two counts of breaking and entering, as well as mischief, assault, possession of a controlled substance, and failure to comply with an undertaking.
