Man charged with first-degree murder to stand trial in Halifax next year
A man charged with first-degree murder in the death of Matthew Sudds will stand trial in Halifax next year.
Ricardo Jerrel Whynder was arrested in Surrey, BC, last March on a Canada-wide warrant and brought back to Nova Scotia to face the charge.
Whynder appeared in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in Halifax on Thursday.
His jury trial has been scheduled for four weeks beginning June 3rd, 2019.
