Man charged with homicide in Cape Breton
Police in Cape Breton say a 34-year-old man faces a manslaughter charge in connection with the death of another man.
Cape Breton Regional Police say a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on Argyle Street in Sydney around 4 a.m. Thursday.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and has since been identified as 37-year-old James Bernard Bonar.
Larry Daniel Stevens has been charged with manslaughter in connection with the incident, which police have described as suspicious.
He was scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
