Man charged with stunting on Highway 103 in Chester Basin

RCMP say a 52-year-old Hammonds Plains man has been charged with stunting in Chester Basin on Monday. 

Police observed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed on Highway 103 around 2 p.m. 

Mounties say the vehicle was clocked at 155 km/hr in an 100 km/hr zone. 

In addition to the driver, there were four other people in the vehicle. 

The man's license was suspended for 7 days and the vehicle was seized. 

The fine for stunting in Nova Scotia is $2,422.50.
