Man drowns at Drysdale Falls in Tatamagouche: RCMP

The RCMP say a 38-year-old man has drowned at Drysdale Falls in Tatamagouche.

Police say the man from Three Fathom Harbour had been swimming with family members yesterday afternoon when he went under the surface and did not come back up.

A family member tried to rescue him but was not able to help.

Two people were rescued by the Special Hazards Response Unit of the Bible Hill Fire Department.

The team later recovered the victim's body.

The RCMP say their investigation into this incident is continuing.
