Man, teen charged following threats at St. Bernard school

Meteghan RCMP say two people are facing charges following threats made towards staff at Saint Mary's Bay Academy in St. Bernard.

An investigation began Tuesday surrounding threats made by a 16-year-old boy and determined a 27-year-old man may have been involved and in possession of a firearm.

Police executed a search warrant the man's home in Church Point and seized both a firearm and ammunition.

Joel André Gaudet has been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unsafe storage of a firearm, breach of recognizance, and two counts of breach of probation.

The RCMP say the teen is charged with uttering threats.
