Multiple stolen vehicles recovered in the Rawdon area: RCMP
Three men from East Hants have been charged with possession of stolen property after the search of two properties in the Rawdon area.
RCMP located a stolen trailer on a property on Highway 14 in Rawdon Gold Mines on Friday and, with the help of a Department of Natural Resources helicopter, a stolen truck at a second property located on Highway 354 in Upper Rawdon.
Police say both locations were multi-acre properties containing multiple vehicles, vehicle parts, and machine equipment.
Search warrants were executed at both locations and, over the course of three days, police recovered nine stolen vehicles, two stolen trailers, a stolen mini-excavator, stolen tools, computer equipment, and a small amount of drugs in total.
A third search warrant was also executed at another location in Upper Rawdon resulting in another vehicle being seized.
Thirty-six-year-old Terrance Murray Murphy of Mount Uniacke, 63-year-old Danny Craig McCullough of Rawdon, and 26-year-old Graeme Creighton White of Rawdon are each charged with one count of possession of stolen property.
The investigation is ongoing with East Hants and Windsor District RCMP and additional charges are anticipated.
