Murder of Colchester County man added to rewards program
The province and the RCMP are offering up to $150,000 for information about the murder of an elderly Colchester County man.
The 1991 homicide of Elmer Yuill has been added to the Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program.
Officials say one or more people hid in the loft of Yuill's barn in Beaver Brook in the early morning hours of Oct. 26, 1991, and shot him two times as he tended his cows.
Yuill was discovered by an employees face down on the barn floor.
Anyone who comes forward with information that could lead to an arrest and possible charges must provide their name and contact info, and may be asked to testify in court.
