Museum in Colchester County offers workshops on how to make homemade soap the old-fashioned way
Nova Scotians can learn how to make homemade soap the old-fashioned way through workshops at the Sutherland Steam Mill Museum in Denmark.
A news release from the province says a two-day artisan soap making workshop will be held on August 19th and 20th.
The release says the event will feature well-known Nova Scotia soap maker Guy Rochon, who has more than 30 years of experience in the business.
The workshop will also include information about scenting, the art of superfatting, which adds extra oils to a soap recipe, and using natural additives.
