N.S. sending 21-person crew to help fight wildfire in British Columbia

Nova Scotia is sending a 21-person crew to British Columbia to help fight wildfires in the province.

The crew from the Department of Natural Resources is leaving Halifax early Tuesday morning.

The group includes 20 on-the-ground firefighters and an on-site manager who will help coordinate the crew's efforts with B.C. fire officials.

The province says the team will be in B.C. for two weeks.
