New contest invites Nova Scotians to share must-see & must-do experiences

A new contest launched by Tourism Nova Scotia invites people to share their favourite photos of lesser-known places to see and things to do in the province.

The photos are intended to entice more people to visit and travel to the province.

In a press release, the province says they are asking Nova Scotians to share photos of their favourite locations, restaurants or activities, on Instagram using #NovaScotiaUNLISTED.

Contest participants will be eligible to win 1 of 3 Google Pixel 3 phones through a random draw.

Tourism Nova Scotia will select one grand prize winner whose photo will feature on the cover of next year's Doers and Dreamers Travel Guide, as well as a credit in the guide and a $2,000 honorarium.

The province says select entries will be displayed on a photo gallery on its trip planning website,, which will then be promoted through digital advertising in Tourism Nova Scotia's key markets of Ontario and the US.
