New Glasgow doctor charged with voyeurism moves practice across town
A New Glasgow doctor charged with voyeurism has moved his practice to the East Side Health Centre.
Dr. Rafid al-Nassar was arrested last fall after New Glasgow Regional Police received a complaint from staff at the Westside Medical Centre that a camera had been found in the washroom.
CTV Atlantic reports al-Nassar wasn't at either clinic on Monday, and a college spokesperson said he might not have moved yet, or he may have changed his plans without notifying them.
His court case was adjourned on Monday to May 18th so a technical report from the RCMP could be prepared.
Al-Nassar's medical licence suspension has been lifted, though interim restrictions are now in place.
The college says al-Nassar is required to have a chaperone present for all patient encounters, except in the operating room.
In addition, a sign explaining this requirement must be placed in all waiting rooms and examination rooms where patients are seen.
