New Glasgow Police Chief Eric MacNeil officially sworn in

New Glasgow's police chief has been sworn in.

Eric MacNeil was officially sworn in as chief at Monday's town council meeting.

MacNeil has been a New Glasgow police officer for more than 40 years.

He served as the town's deputy chief for ten years before becoming Acting Chief of Police in April 2017, following the retirement of former Police Chief Delaney Chisholm.
