Nova Scotia Highlanders Military Rifle Association claims first place at final big gauge shoot

The Nova Scotia Rifle Association had its final Big Gauge Shoot in Lunenburg on Sunday, March 4.

The Nova Scotia Highlanders Military Rifle Association Team, featuring Al Roland from Truro, Gary Rutherford from Truro, Barry Langille from New Glasgow and Paul Rodd from Brookfield, placed first, scoring 3575/4000.

Second was Atlantic Marksmans Association with 3545/3600.

The Pictou County Military Rifle Association scored 3530/3600 and Annapolis Valley scored 3413/3600.

As for individual shooters, first went to Paul Rodd, scoring 1593/1600; Al Roland was second with 1587/1600; third was Peter Marshall (Annapolis Valley) with 1586/1600; and Barry Langille placed 4th, scoring 1579/1600.
