NSFA begins Annual General Meeting in Truro

The Nova Scotia Federation of Agriculture is holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Truro over the next two days.

The business meetings begin Thursday morning at 10 a.m. with a number of presentations scheduled for mid-afternoon.

Truro-Bible Hill-Millbrook-Salmon River NDP MLA Lenore Zann and Kings North Progressive Conservative MLA John Lohr, the Agriculture Critics for their respective parties, will make presentations and comments around 3:30 p.m.

Agriculture Minister Keith Colwell is scheduled to speak at 4:30., followed the by banquet with presentations and recognition of a number of awards.

The AGM wraps up Friday afternoon.
