NSHA to hold community consultation on family practice teams in Truro on Wednesday
The Nova Scotia Health Authority's (NSHA) series of community consultations is rolling through Truro on Wednesday night.
A meeting is being held at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre from 6 to 8 p.m. on what the NSHA is calling "a community conversation on family practice teams".
The health authority is looking to share information and hear what will make these teams successful in the province.
Consultations have been running for a few months, and Truro's is one of three being held Wednesday.
Anyone wanting to attend is asked to register by calling 1-833-682-5988 or by emailing email@example.com.
The consultation comes the same day that CBC reported that at least seven family doctors in Truro will stop practicing this year; six of those are retirements.
