Pictou man charged with stunting

A 19-year-old man from Pictou has been charged with stunting after RCMP say a vehicle was clocked driving 56 km/hr above the posted speed limit.

During regular patrols on Three Brooks Road on April 2nd, a vehicle was stopped for driving 136 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

The RCMP say the vehicle was seized and towed, and the driver had his licence suspended for seven days.

The fine for stunting, if convicted, is $2,422.50.
