Police investigating assault after receiving report of blood-covered man running down the street
Halifax Regional Police are investigating an assault after receiving a report that a man was running down the street, covered in blood.
CTV Atlantic reports police responded to the area of Pleasant Street and Starr Lane around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Officers did not find the man, but they did determine a possible location where they believe he was assaulted on Prince Albert Road.
Police say they later learned the man had gone to the Dartmouth General Hospital, where he is being treated.
CTV Atlantic reports no arrests have been made.
The extent of the man's injuries isn't known at this time.
