Police looking for suspect in New Glasgow hotel robbery

Police are investigating an early morning robbery at the Comfort Inn in New Glasgow.

Officers were called to the hotel on Westville Road shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday.

According to staff, a man walked into the lobby through the front door, approached the front desk, produced a knife and demanded cash before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white male, between 5'5" and 5'9", with a small build, wearing a green hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and sunglasses.
