Police looking to speak to victim of Elmsdale road rage incident

The RCMP are asking for the public's help to identify the victim of a reported road rage incident in Elmsdale.

Police were contacted via 911 around 1:40 p.m. on Thursday by a witness who saw a man get out of his truck on Highway 214, climb the steps to a transport truck, and punch the driver.

The witness followed the man to a bank nearby and noted signs of impairment.

Details of the licence plate and vehicle were passed on to police, who were able to identify the man.

RCMP say the victim of the assault did not report the incident and are asking that person, as well as any other witnesses, to come forward.
