Police say Nova Scotia man arrested for dangerous driving after vehicle clocked at 200 km/h

RCMP say a Nova Scotia man was arrested for dangerous driving after a vehicle clocked at 200 kilometres an hour lost control and crashed.

Mounties say the vehicle was spotted Sunday afternoon on Highway 104 in Marshy Hope, passing vehicles at a high rate of speed in a no passing zone.

They say the vehicle lost control, went through a guard rail and then went down an embankment -- but the driver was not injured.

A 20-year-old Bridgewater man is scheduled to appear in Pictou provincial court on June 19th.
