Police seize drugs and loaded sawed-off rifle in Annapolis County
Two people have been arrested and charged following a drug bust in Nova Scotia's Annapolis County.
The RCMP say officers seized a large quantity of methamphetamine pills, a loaded sawed-off .22 calibre rifle with what police are saying appeared to be a homemade 'suppressor' attached, and ammo during Tuesday's search of a Lawrencetown home and related traffic stop.
Forty-three-year-old Christina Daniels of Lawrencetown is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking as well as several additional charges related to the gun that was seized.
Twenty-nine-year-old Laura Longmire of Middleton is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine for the purposed of trafficking.
