Province launches online survey about legalizing cannabis

The provincial government has launched an online survey for feedback on legalizing cannabis.

The survey will run for three weeks, until October 27th, and is asking for input on key issues such as the legal age to purchase and use cannabis, where it can be purchased, where it can be used, and drug-impaired driving.

Justice Minister Mark Furey says they want to hear from Nova Scotians as government develops a well-regulated legal market that encourages responsible use and minimizes organized crime.

The online survey can be accessed at

The province also says copies of the survey will be available at Access Nova Scotia Centres on October 12th.
