RCMP asking public to share photos, videos of Inverary Resort Fire with investigators

RCMP are asking for the public's help following a fire at the Inverary Resort in Cape Breton on Thursday.

Mounties say investigators from the Victoria District RCMP are working to determine the circumstances that led to the fire.

Police are asking anyone who has photos or videos of the fire, particularly during its early stages around 2 a.m. and 3 a.m., to share them with investigators.

S/Sgt. Darren Waidson, the Detachment Commander of Victoria District RCMP, says small details that show up in the photos and videos might provide valuable information.

Victoria District RCMP is working with the Nova Scotia Office of the Fire Marshal to determine the fire's cause.

Anyone with photos or video is asked to send them to Cpl. Gavin Naime at Gavin.Naime@rcmp-grc,.gc,ca.
