RCMP charge 17 motorists with impaired driving on National Impaired Driving Enforcement Day
During National Impaired Driving Enforcement Day on May 20th Nova Scotia RCMP charged 17 motorists for impaired driving.
Police say of those charged, 14 were impaired by alcohol and three were impaired by drug.
They also say nine roadside suspensions were issued.
Constable Chad Morrison with Nova Scotia RCMP Traffic Services says he hopes these numbers will "trigger" people to reflect on their own driving behaviours.
