RCMP continue to investigate death of Laura Lee Cross 15 years later

RCMP say they continue to investigate the murder of 33-year-old Laura Lee Cross 15 years after her death. 

Two hunters discovered human skeletal remains off a logging road on Guysborough Road near Dollar Lake Provincial Park around 5:30 p.m. on October 14th, 2002. 

The remains were later identified as those of Cross. 

RCMP say she was last seen on July 12th, 2001, and reported missing the next month. 

At the time of her disappearance, Cross had been living at 18 Middle Street in Dartmouth. 

This homicide has been added to the Nova Scotia Reward for Major Unsolved Crimes Program, which offers up to $150,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction in certain cases.
