RCMP determine nothing criminal about jar of human remains found in Lunenburg County
The Nova Scotia RCMP has wrapped up its investigation into a jar of human remains discovered at a Lunenburg County construction site over the summer.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jennifer Clarke tells CBC News the major crimes unit has looked into it and deemed the situation non-criminal.
But no one will say exactly what was in the jar.
However, a spokesperson with the Justice Department told CBC the medical examiner's office concluded the jar contained human remains like those used in an educational setting.
