RCMP investigate illegal dumping in Head of Chezzetcook

Police in Nova Scotia are asking for the public's help as they investigate complaints about the illegal dumping of garbage in Head of Chezzetcook.

Halifax District RCMP say the garbage was dumped during the winter months on private property.

Photos distributed by the Mounties show heaps of old tires, rotting furniture and all manner of junk and waste in various rural locations.

Police say much of the garbage was found on the Mines Road.
