RCMP investigating break-in and theft from Upper Tantallon hardware store

RCMP say a hardware store in Upper Tantallon has been the target of a break and enter after a large amount of merchandise was stolen. 

Police say the break-in and theft took place sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning. 

Power tools and air tools were some of the items stolen. 

Mounties advise people who are thinking of buying power and air tools secondhand or online to be aware of this incident. 

Police say it would have taken a significant amount of time for the thieves to remove the items from the store. 

They're asking the public for help to identify those responsible.
