RCMP investigating multiple break and enters at unoccupied homes, cottages

Mounties in Nova Scotia say they are investigating multiple break and enters at unoccupied homes and cottages.

They say they received three complaints of cottages being broken into on Christmas Eve in Loon Lake, and another three complaints of break-ins in East Loon Lake on December 29th.

Items reported taken included firearms, electronics, fishing gear, a chain saw and some snow shoes.

More break-ins have been reported over the last several days at cottages in College Lake and Tangier.
