RCMP say teen arrested after shots fired in Bridgetown

RCMP say a 16-year-old has been arrested after shots were fired in Bridgetown.

Annapolis District RCMP were called to a single motor vehicle crash on South Street just after midnight Saturday.

Police say they found an abandoned vehicle and were told a suspect was seen leaving the scene with a rifle.

Mounties say they located the suspect and that he had fired multiple shots.

Police negotiated with the boy, who was then arrested and taken to hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
