Report of break and enter leads to five arrests in Truro
Truro Police arrested five people after a report of a break and enter on Queen Street early Monday morning.
Officers responded to the scene around 4:30 a.m. and spotted a vehicle leaving at a high rate of speed.
The vehicle failed to stop for police, but it was located a short time later.
The driver, a 26-year-old Millbrook woman, is charged with flight from police and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
A 21-year-old woman was charged with failing to abide by a probation order.
Both women are scheduled to appear in court in May.
A 28-year-old Truro man is being held in custody as police say he had a province-wide warrant for failing to attend court.
The other two occupants of the vehicle were released without charges.
The matter remains under investigation.
