Scotia Pool one of four finalists in national competition

Scotia Pool is officially one of four finalists competing in the national Kraft Heinz Project Play competition.

A news release from Glenda Bower, Chair of the Scotia Pool Society, says the facility was chosen from nearly 1200 nominations on Monday.

The project that receives the most votes in the competition will win a grand prize of $250,000 towards a facility upgrade, and the three finalists will each receive $20,000.

If Scotia Pool wins the most votes, the competition's website says the money will be used for upgrades to the exterior of the facility, including a new roof, new windows, a new walkway, and brick replacement.

Voting begins on September 8th at kraftheinzprojectplay.com.
