Significant drug seizure in Yarmouth Thursday

Police say they seized drugs, cash and firearms after two searches were conducted in Yarmouth on Thursday.

RCMP say the searches were the culmination of a seven-month investigation.

Police say the following was seized:
- Over $35,000 in cash
- 2 modified handguns with ammunition
- Methamphetamine pills
- Processed and packaged marijuana, including "shatter"
- Cocaine
- Steroid pills
- Several scales and packaging material

RCMP say two men were arrested without incident following the searches.

Police say 41-year-old Robert Thomas Greenslade of Yarmouth and 45-year-old Andrew Nhi Van Pham, formerly of Yarmouth have both been charged with the following offences:
- Trafficking Cocaine 
- Trafficking Methamphetamine 
- Trafficking in Cannabis 
- Possession of Cocaine 
- Possession of Methamphetamine 
- Possession of Cannabis 
- Conspire to commit an indictable offence x 2 
- Possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose x 2 
- Careless use of a firearm x 2 
- Unsafe storage of a firearm x 2 
- Possession of a Prohibited Weapon x 2?

Both men have been remanded into custody and will return to court in Yarmouth on June 3.
