Spill following oil delivery truck accident in Centre Rawdon

The RCMP say weather and road conditions are behind an oil truck accident in Centre Rawdon.

Just before 8 p.m. Wednesday, a fuel delivery truck slid into the ditch on Meek Road.

When RCMP, firefighters and paramedics arrived on scene, the driver was outside of the truck, the truck was on its side and some of the load was leaking.

Hazmat was called in to help the Rawdon Fire Department clean up the spill and the truck driver was taken to hospital to be checked out.

No other vehicles were involved in the accident and there's no word on how much fuel leaked from the truck.
