St. FX students call for change

Students at Saint FX are calling for a change to the University's policy on sexual violence.

St. FX Student Union President Rebecca Mesay says students want the policy to be more "survivor-centric", and that the student union will be taking steps to address sexualized violence on campus.

Nearly 100 people attended a rally last night, with more discussions in the works for today on how to take more aggresive action against campus sexual assault.

The call for change comes after a male student was found responsible for sexaully assaulting a female student, but was then allowed to return to class after appealing the school's decision.
