Stu Rath inducted into Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame

Truro businessman Stu Rath has been inducted into the Junior Achievement of Nova Scotia (JA) Business Hall of Fame.

He was one of three Laureate's at a ceremony held Wednesday night at the Halifax Convention Centre alongside R. Diane Campbell and Rob Steele.

Rath, who owns the Truro Bearcats junior A hockey team, has been involved in numerous business pursuits over the years.

He's been recognized with various awards, including Business Man of the Year in 1997 and a 2011 Lifetime Achievement award from the Truro Chamber of Commerce, and honours from the Rotary and Kiwanis clubs.

JA Nova Scotia and the Business Hall of Fame honour individuals each year who inspire the business community and future business leaders with an unparalleled lifetime achievement.
