Stunting charge laid in Antigonish County

A 25-year-old Halifax man has been charged with stunting in Antigonish County.

RCMP say a Mini Cooper was clocked at 167 km/h on Highway 104 in Lower South River, which is a 110 km/h zone.

The incident happened around 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The driver's vehicle was seized and his driver's licence was suspended for seven days, and faces a fine of just over $2,400 if convicted.
