Surveillance cameras help police with arson investigation in Conquerall Bank

Police are asking for help to identify the suspects in an arson investigation in Lunenburg County.

Officers responded to a fire on Harlow Road in Conquerall Bank shortly after 6:30 a.m. on Friday, along with volunteer firefighters from Conquerall Bank, Bridgewater and Pleasantville.

RCMP say the home was fully engulfed when they arrived and they soon learned it was not occupied, but a witness reported two people were at the home at approximately 12:30 a.m. and the fire began right after they left.

Police say images were captured on surveillance cameras at a neighbouring home.

The RCMP say they have determined the fire is suspicious and are asking for the public's assistance to identify the suspects.
