Tangier man charged with impaired driving in Antigonish County
A 26-year-old man from Tangier has been charged with impaired driving after a traffic stop in Addington Forks around supper-hour on Friday.
The RCMP say the vehicle was clocked at 143 km/hr as it passed an unmarked police vehicle on Highway 104.
The driver, Robert Mason, also faces charges of driving with a blood alcohol level over the legal limit and driving while disqualified.
Police would like to remind drivers that any time you suspect a driver is impaired, call 911 and report it.
