Teen arrested following 'series of physical disturbances' in Dartmouth: Halifax police

A 17-year-old has been arrested after police say they responded to a "series of physical disturbances" at Alderney Landing in Dartmouth Sunday night. 

Police responded to the scene just after 9:30 p.m. 

Police say during the arrest of a man, a second male in the group was taken into custody for obstructing the arrest. 

He was found to be in possession of a knife. 

The teen will face charges of possession of a weapon dangerous to the public and obstruction. 

He was released with a future court date.
