Teen charged after emailed threats sent to Dartmouth school

A 15-year-old boy has been charged following threats that were emailed to a school in Dartmouth.

Police responded to Ellenvale Junior High School around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday after the school reported receiving two anonymous emails containing threats.

It was determined that the threats were a hoax, and the Dartmouth teen was arrested at the school around 1 p.m.

He's since been charged with two counts of uttering threats and is due in Halifax Provincial Youth Court at a later date.
