Threats to Cape Breton high school 'unsubstantiated': RCMP

The RCMP say a student who made threats against a high school in Cape Breton may face charges at a later date.

The Strait Area Education Recreation Centre in Port Hawkesbury received a call of threats on Thursday.

Police say officers worked with school staff and determined there was no risk to public safety.

The investigation is continuing, and RCMP say they're working closely with the Strait Regional School Board to determine the most appropriate course of action.
