Three men charged with attempted murder following attack in Truro

Truro Police say three people have been charged with attempted murder after an attack on Sunday that sent one person to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

27-year-old Alexander Borden, 34-year-old Dylan Tupper, and 31-year-old Nelson Mumford, all of Truro, also face charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.

The location of the attack has not been disclosed at this time.

Police say the accused and the victim, who has since been released from hospital, are known to each other, and this was not a random attack.

The three men have been remanded into custody until a court appearance on Wednesday.
