Three New Brunswickers charged following cottage break-ins
Three people from New Brunswick face a laundry list of charges after Cumberland District RCMP received a report of a suspicious vehicle parked at a vacant cottage in Tidnish Cross Roads.
Police say officers arrived early Tuesday morning to find a man and a woman stealing items from the cottage, and both were arrested.
The investigation determined that a third person was also involved, and that the group had targeted several vacant cottages, stealing items including televisions and firearms.
44-year-old Hector Cormier of Shemogue, New Brunswick and 32-year-old Robyn Suzie Savoury each face over 20 charges of break and enter and mischief, while 33-year-old Shane Lewis McCarthy of Westmorland, New Brunswick is charged with eight counts of break and enter and 11 of mischief.
Cormier and Savoury also face one count each of possession of property obtained by crime.
