Trenton man charged after construction worker allegedly shot in back with nail gun
A Nova Scotia man has been charged after allegedly shooting a co-worker in the back with a nail gun on a construction site in Pictou County.
Police say Shawn Wade Hynes has been charged with one count of criminal negligence causing bodily harm.
Pictou District RCMP say a 21-year-old man was injured on Sept. 19 and later transported to hospital, where he required treatment.
Police say they were called while the victim was in hospital and began their investigation from there.
The 43-year-old Hynes is scheduled to appear in Pictou provincial court on December 21.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
